This page describes the management procedures for the www.esametal.com website with regard to the processing of personal data of users who visit it. This document was drafted along the lines of the similar document on the website of the Italian Data Protection Authority dated August 16, 2006, and has been modified and supplemented as needed.

This information is also based on Recommendation No. 2/2001, which the European data protection authorities, gathered in the Working Party established by Article 29 of Directive No. 95/46/EC, adopted on May 17, 2001, to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

Place of data processing
The processing operations related to this site's web services take place at the aforementioned Esametal Srl headquarters and are handled only by technical personnel of the Office in charge of processing, or by any internal personnel assigned to occasional maintenance operations. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to monitor its proper functioning, and is retained for the time necessary as required by law. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.
B. Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, which is necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the site pages dedicated to particular services upon request.

Rights of interested parties
Data subjects have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their personal data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration, updating, or rectification (Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request the deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, for legitimate reasons, to its processing.
